AGES 11 & UP
   Our summer camps will be headed up by Mr. Kyle Colavita! Please take time to read our description of Mr. Colavita's experience in sports.  He is a very diverse coach and The Edge is excited to have him educating our athletes in some very important areas this summer! All camps are $110 for 3 days and will cover several crucial skills and aspects of each of the sports listed below.  The purpose of these camps will be to prepare athletes from the skills testing aspects of each sport in order to help them perform well at the next level!

Dates/Times:
Football Combine Prep - June:  13-15th   9AM-12 NOON
Lacrosse Camp - June: 17-19 th  9 AM - 12 NOON
Baseball Power Camp - June: 24th-26th  9am-12 noon


Lacrosse Camp - July: 11th-13th   1 pm - 3pm

Baseball Power Camp - July:  18th - 20th  1pm - 3pm
 

1. Football Combine Prep:
·      Learn the secrets of each event so you can achieve your best score ever! Every event will be biomechanically broken down so that you understand what the test is assessing, and how to execute it properly. Each participant will complete every major test: 40 yd dash, 5-10-5 Agility Shuttle, 3-Cone Drill, Broad Jump, Bench Press, Medicine Ball Toss and Vertical Jump
2.Lacrosse:
·       Learn how to dominate your opponent through an emphasis on agility, speed development, running mechanics, interval training to increase work capacity, and strength development in the weight room; all with direct specificity to lacrosse!
3.                Explosive POWER baseball camp:
·      Want to learn how to hit the ball further? Increase your speed so you can turn your doubles into triples? Learn all this and much more! The emphasis will be on upper and lower body plyometrics, improvement of running mechanics and acceleration from home to 1, increased core stability and strength, and improvement of total body strength and power in the weight room

Kyle Colavita ·      3 years in the private sport performance business sector as a Performance Coach and 1 year at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY as a Sport Physiologist ·   

-   Graduated from the Citadel Graduate College in 2011 with a Master’s in Sport and Exercise Science ·

      -Trained athletes from 15 different sports including: football, baseball, lacrosse, wrestling, bobsled and skeleton
